    General admission to all exhibitions

    • Home of the famous Panorama of the City of New York — a 9,335-sq-ft scale model of all five boroughs built for the 1964 World's Fair. Always free (suggested donation).

    A little setup

    Needs: IDNYC

    Family membership: free admission for 2 adults and up to 4 children, 10% discount at Museum Shop and Cafe, invitations to special events and openings

    Worth: $45/year family membership
